Mike’s’ Story
Dr Mike Gosling is an executive educator and emotional intelligence behavioural coach. I was born in Suva, Fiji, in 1949 and went to live in Australia in 1974. I am a dual Fijian and Australian a citizen. I am a fourth generation Fijian, descendant from the Willams & Gosling families who established the firm of the same name in November, 1921.
My personal mission is to live life with integrity, hope, and empathy and be the positive change in the lives of others.
Since 1997, I have conducted my own executive leadership development coaching and cognitive-behavioral counselling practice, Gosling International, with my wife and business partner, Marriage and ADHD Coach Karen Gosling, in Singapore and on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, serving more than 3,500 people from 87 nationalities. Being a former Member of Rotary has helped increase my awareness to the world of service to change lives.
I formed this charity, FijiLIFE Foundation Limited, on July 14, 2021 together with my wife, Karen Gosling, and eldest son, Daniel Gosling, to serve the needs of the poor and most vulnerable people in Fiji. FijiLIFE Foundation is an ambitious charity with a grand but simple goal: to ensure a happy and better life for disadvantaged Fijian people.
We support those in need within the community in Fiji with programs that alleviate poverty and suffering, and create self-sufficiency, sustainable, and long-lasting change.
